Governor Agbu Kefas hosted the maiden Taraba State Solid Minerals Investment Roundtable at the Banquet Hall, TY Danjuma House, Jalingo.
The Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake, urged investors to tap into Taraba’s mineral resources and partner with the state to become a leading mining destination.
To drive this, Governor Agbu Kefas has directed relevant MDAs to set up the Taraba Solid Minerals Investment Facilitation Desk, a one-stop platform to coordinate investors, government agencies, and host communities.
The Desk will handle geological information, land access, business support, security, infrastructure, and community engagement.
With Federal Government support, the state is set to turn Taraba’s mineral resources into bankable investments that create jobs and sustainable revenue.
The goal is clear: mining must deliver real benefits to host communities, jobs for the state’s youth, and lasting revenue for Tarabans.
