Governor Agbu Kefas officially unveiled the Taraba State Development Master Plan and the Taraba State Water Plan at a Gala Night held in Jalingo, as part of activities marking Taraba State’s 35th Anniversary.

These strategic frameworks will guide the state’s long-term growth and sustainable development. They provide a clear roadmap for physical planning, infrastructure expansion, and water resource management for the people of Taraba and the next generation.

The progress celebrated was made possible by the contributions of successive administrations, both military and civilian. At different times, past leaders provided people-focused governance and laid the foundation for the Taraba being built today.

In his remarks, the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, described 35 years of Taraba as a significant milestone.

He noted the state’s abundant natural resources and agricultural potential, and described Taraba as one of Nigeria’s frontier states for agriculture.
