Terms of use
This website is published on behalf of Gov. Agbu Kefas, Executive Governor of Taraba State and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Governor of Taraba State in 2027 ("we", "us"). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Use of the site
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes: to learn about the Governor, follow campaign news and sign up for updates. You must not misuse the site, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, submitting false information, or using it to send spam or unlawful content.
Content and intellectual property
All text, photographs, video, logos and design on this site belong to the campaign or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce, alter or use campaign materials, names or logos in a way that suggests endorsement or misrepresents the Governor without written permission.
What this website is
This site carries two kinds of material. Some pages report the work of Gov. Agbu Kefas in office as Executive Governor of Taraba State. Others concern his 2027 campaign for re-election, and are published and paid for by the campaign.
Neither is an official record of the Government of Taraba State. Statutory notices, gazettes, procurement, and the formal publications of the State Government appear on the State Government's own website, not here. Nothing on this site should be relied on as a statement of government policy, and no part of it should be read as the State Government soliciting support for a candidate.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep information accurate and current, but campaign news, positions and events may change. Content is provided for general information only.
Links to other sites
This site links to social media, news reports and other external websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and a link does not mean we endorse everything on that site.
Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the campaign is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Privacy notice
We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
When you sign up for updates we collect your email address and, if you choose to give them, your first name, last name and local government area. We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this site.
How we use it
We use your details only to send you news and event information and to understand where our supporters are across Taraba State. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. The sign-up list is held by the campaign and is not shared with the Government of Taraba State or any of its agencies.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-handling service. The site is hosted by Hostinger, and some fonts are served by Google Fonts. These providers may process technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver their service. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you remain subscribed, and for no longer than the end of the 2027 election cycle unless you ask to stay in touch.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or unsubscribe at any time by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Cookie policy
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. This site keeps its use of them to a minimum.
What we use
Your cookie choice. When you accept or decline cookies, we store that choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again. It contains no personal information.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It runs only after you select Accept, and it is not loaded at all if you decline. Google may set cookies in your browser and process your IP address for this purpose.
